History of our website updates
 As you probably know, the website cayolargo.net exist since February 2000 after our first visit in March 1999. Major updates have been done throughout the years to keep our site as updated as possible about hotels, beaches, excursions, services, etc.
Therefore, it is important to keep the site updated to inform Cayo Largo lovers of any new development in this paradise island.
Here are the chronological events (updates) done since its debut in 2000 ...
February 2000
» The  original version of the site is online. The adventure has begun!
December 2000
» Our first discussion forum is online. People may now share info and thoughts about Cayo Largo.
November 2001
» The hurricane Michelle hit badly Cayo Largo and caused important damages.
April 2002
» Major Updates of the website with new modules but the format remained the same.
February 2006
» New important Updates of the site (format is still the same).
May 2007
» We incorporated our first Adobe Flash videos of Cayo Largo.
December 2007
» A new section of the discussion forum called États des plages has been created permanently to inform people about the status of the beaches which is a major concern for many persons.
November 2008
» Finally, after more than 8 years on the web, the new format of our cayolargo.net website is now online. Totally redesigned and new features and informations updated.
December 2008 - January 2009
» Update of many pages with new photos, videos and informations from our last stay from December 18th to 25th 2008.

September 2009
» New map of the Sol Cayo Largo hotel (thanks to Luc).
October 2009
» A major update of all pages to reflect the change in the administration of the Barceló, which is no longer present on the island. The hotel is now under Gran Caribe management with the new name: Hotel Playa Blanca.
