Isla del Sur

The Isla del Sur was the first hotel built in Cayo Largo. The rooms are in a two-story building with a pool or ocean view. The reception and administration for all the Gran Caribe resort are located at this hotel. This hotel is exclusively to the Italian club Eden Village.

Number of rooms: 57

Standard room : Air conditioning, 2 single beds or 1 king size bed, complete bathroom, balcony or terrace, telephone, television, mini-fridge, safety box.

Facilities : A Buffet restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner), a snack bar, pool bar, lobby bar (24/24) , pool, kid pool, tennis, shop, money exchange, Fax, post office, tourist desk, car rental, horseback riding, babysitting, hair salon, lounge chairs, beach towel , beach umbrellas (palapas), shuttle service.

When the sea is rough (strong winds), nautical activities are at Playa Sirena.

All the hotels offer a special dinner to celebrate Christmas eve on December 24th. In 2008, we were invited at the Hotel Isla del Sur (Eden Village). For this occasion, giant shrimps, prosciutto, smoked salmon and a delicious grilled lobster tail. A night to remember!
