  Trip reports

Like the List of lucky ones, this project started in 2000 in our bulletin board. The users posted their trip reports of Cayo Largo to inform people of any new developments or status of beaches. During the years, those reports became of the highest importance in the forum for a good planning of your next trip.

In the first version of cayolargo.net forum (CGI scripts) there was only one forum without sub-forums. Of course these trip reports became very hard to find within hundreds of other messages. I decided to create a webpage containing direct links to all the trip reports.

Click HERE to read the old trip reports and remember good old days!

Then in July 2004, we put online the first discussion forum in a new format called phpbb. This script allows creation of multiple sub-forums. At last, we could gather all the trip reports within one forum. A lot easier to access.

Click the thumbnail on your left to access the « Trip Reports » section of our bulletin board. A very interesting collection of thoughts and facts about this destination.

You are all invited to participate in this forum. Click HERE to register your username.

Good reading!

  • It is easy to install (fantastico script on server) but a bit tricky to setup the many configuration modules.
