  Villa Lindamar

Gran Caribe Grupo Hotelero (Cuban administration)
This resort is made of small individual villas called « cabañas » on piles, very close to the beach and offering the most beautiful sea sights of all the hotels on the island. Definitively our « coup de coeur » of Cayo Largo!
After the destruction of Villa Caprichio in 2001 by hurricane Michelle, Villa Lindamar became the Caprichio #2 but not for a long. In 2004, the Italian travel agency « Villaggi Veratour » signed an exclusive contract with Gran Caribe to become an exclusive Italian club. Not good for the Canadian lovers of this hotel! It is important to say that the Canadians seem to prefer 4-stars hotels in Cuba and as Lindamar is only a 3-stars, and it was quite difficult for Canadian TO to sell their rooms.
