  Villa Lindamar
Photo taken (April 2004) in the aerotaxi flight going to Isla de la Juventud.
This complex is made of small individual villas « cabañas » on piles, very close to the beach and offering one of the most beautiful sea sights sea of all the island. Definitively our coup de coeur » of Cayo Largo!
After the destruction of Villa Caprichio in 2001, Villa Lindamar became the Caprichio #2 but not for a long time!
In 2004, the Italian travel agency Veratour (Villaggi Veratour) signed an exclusive contract with Gran Caribe to become an exclusively Italian club. Not good for the Canadian lovers of this hotel! It is important to say that the Canadians seem to prefer 4-stars hotels in Cuba and as Lindamar is only a 3-stars, and it was quite difficult for Canadian TO to sell their rooms.

The hotels at Cayo Largo offer a special Christmas eve dinner on December 24th. In 2008, we had the chance to take photos of this event at Villa Lindamar. The Isla del Sur also offers a dinner for Gran Caribe customers.
